Specifically to the local efforts of Portland Rescue Mission – Burnside Shelter and nationally to the Same Kind of Different As Me Foundation.\nWHERE CAN I LEARN ABOUT TICKETS AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES?\nPlease click through to our eventbrite page for more details.\nHOW WILL PROCEEDS BE DISTRIBUTED?\nAll funds raised through sponsorship and ticket sales will be divided equally between Portland Rescue Mission – Burnside Shelter and the Same Kind of Different As Me Foundation.\nHOW ARE THE FUNDS USED BY THESE ORGANIZATIONS?\nPortland Rescue Mission – Burnside Shelter\n75% of all funds received are used to provide three tiers of support:\nEmergency Services -meals, shelters, blankets, etc.\nTransitional Housing – giving individuals and families a “leg up”. 70% of graduates become permanently housed and self-sufficient.\nRecovery –  Staff and volunteers who interact with homeless in an effort to help them become ready for true recovery from addiction leading to homelessness.
